Costume Inventory Resources is a family owned business located in Davis, CA.   We write the Inventory Database software and User Guides, print the inventory tags and provide support on the phone.   What started as a single database for costumes in 2010 has been expanded to many different modules for Costumes, Props, Patterns, Lighting Equipment, Sound Equipment, Uniforms, and more. We now have customers in the US and 27 other countries using our software, inventory tags and inventory supplies.

One note about the name: "Costume Inventory Resources".  We started the company to manage costume collections, hence the name, but quickly expanded to include many other databases.  We even have plans for a few more Inventory Databases soon.  When we added Props and Lighting we considered changing the official name to Costume & Theatre Inventory Resources.  But soon we added more Inventory Databases and the name started to sound way too long - "Costume, Theatre, WIg, Uniform, Pattern, Lighting, & Sound Equipment Inventory Resources" ???  Too much.  So we have gone back to just Costume Inventory Resources. You will still see our Costume & Theatre Inventory Resources logo as we like it a lot.

For our Uniform customers we use the name "Uniform Inventory Resources" so they know we are serious about helping our Uniform (Music Dept and Work/Security)  and JROTC / Work / Cheer / Athletic Dept. customers.  Uniform Inventory Resources is a part of Costume Inventory Resources.
